The MeisterSinger Pamgaea Day Sate is a very interesting watch. As always with his company, the watch has only one hand, but this model comes in two color options. One watch is the white day date display, and the other has the black day date display. In my opinion the black version is the more attractive of the two, but i can see another person choosing the white. I myself have been enjoying dark dials as of late, and this watch done in black really speaks to me.
I have plenty of respect for this brand because they are very much aware of who they are. No matter whether we lobe the one hand concept of hate it, MeisterSinger is a one hand watch maker, and that appears to be final. The only time they use a second hand is when they use a subdial for seconds. I appreciate companies that have an identity, and stuck with it, come what may. I wish you could put one of the black day date watches on your wrist to have the real feel of what the watch offers. The dial is very legible, and with its sunburst base done in blue, along with contrasting accents, the watch really does capture the eyes.
The firm ha done well to maintain its single handed watch concepts for quite some time now. This particular watch model is done very well. This seems to be because they offer plenty of information on the dial. Having the day, and the date complication helps add value to the watch, and does more than target what hour it is. This is a strong effort by MeisterSinger, and it shows. This Pangaea Day Date watch measures in at 40 millimeters in diameter, and has 50 meters of water resistance.
The case is done in stainless steel, and the crystal is made of sapphire. The watch is powered by the reliable ETA 2836-2 movement, or the Sellita SW 220-1. It is a strong automatic movement that offers 38 hours of power reserve. The watch has a frequency of 28,800 vph. Brown leather was used in making the strap, and these watches will be selling for about $2,600. Please contact meistersinger.com for more information. Thank you.
