When watch lovers hear the name Tudor, the models Black Bay, and Pelagos come to mind. These are iconic watches for the Tudor brand, and everyone gets excited when a new version is released. They are great timepieces, pay homage to vintage watches, and are a great value for the price. However, they are not the only watches that Tudor has on the market. The Tudor Glamour Double Date is an excellent timepiece, and deserves dome of our attention.
The watch will is available in several versions, such as stainless steel with leather, steel with a bracelet, steel and gold on leather with an optional bracelet, and a version with diamonds at the dial that is so icy. The case measures in at 42 millimeters in diameter, and even though the watch is a bit dressy, it can be used for other occasions that dress ups.
The watch is water resistant to 100 meters in depth, and has an elegant but modern look. The watch dial is quite new for Tudor, having textures and color combinations not seen before on Tudor watches. There is a somewhat Rolex Champagne gold version which is very cool indeed, and you can have a silver dial with blue hands or with gold hands, and yes you can have a black dial too.
The watch is powered by a new movement, the Calibre MT5641, and it is a certified COSC chronometer. The movement has a transversal balance bridge, the inertia balance micro adjusted with screws and the non magnetic silicon balance spring. The movement appears to be modular and we expect many variations of the movement to be made in the future. This watch is priced to sell at $3500 for the steel, and $4500 for the gold.
