The Fromanteel watch brand is a Dutch concern, and has been expanding its line of automatic timepieces. The Pendulum model was the company’s first mechanical watch, and then came the Pendulum Traveler. The watch is a strong update to the original Pendulum, and having a blue dial offers the watch a classy new color not seen before from the firm. The company now has 10 years under its belt, and the founders of the firm are Alfredo Silva, and Martijn van Hassel. The company waited until 2015 to jump into the making of mechanical watches, and prior to that, the firm was focused on quarts powered models.
Not long after the launch of the Pendulum watch during 2015, having an original off white dial, the company launched the Pendulum Dark. That watch offered a dark great dial with rose gold markers and hands. This third launch is the pendulum Blue, and has a blue sunburst dial having a great classic look to it. The dial offers leaf styled steel hands with a slim and straight seconds hand. The hour markers are also made of matching steel, and the 12 o’clock marker is a bit thicker that the rest. There is a date window at the 3 o’clock, and the wheel is white with black numerals.
The watch has a 42 millimeter diameter to its stainless steel case, and is powered by the ETA 2824 automatic watch movement. The crown has a yellow decoration on it which matches the yellow lining of the available leather straps. It is a dress watch look for a younger adult, but does not look in any way out of the ordinary. The Pendulum has both front and back crystals made of sapphire, and that gives amazing value to the watch. The watch retails at $1200, or EUR 1000, and is an excellent dress watch , or office watch for a working person needing to look sharp, while at the same time managing their budget wisely.
